You know each time you throw me by picking a song that I don’t dig (and think that you should not be including), I catch myself wondering if you should be sticking to some sort of theme? I mean, King Tee & Aerosmith? Are you just a random song generator?
But, when the whole show is done, I feel differently. It is a journey that I have been on and one that I cannot predict. Sometimes when a DJ programs a show I can see where it is going. I can connect the dots. With you it is surprise. I know that is what you want and it keeps me eagerly listening to each new show. I forgive the missteps and only remember the pleasant surprises.
LOL Sean, I’m not quite a random song generator, but I am after being as diverse and unpredictable as possible. It’s not an easy task, trust me.
But i must say that to me, there are no “missteps” as every song played in these shows was handpicked for a specific reason, but I realize every song on each show won’t appeal to everybody. That would be impossible. I just try to give folks an insight to what I’m into and if someone gets turned onto an artist that they wouldn’t get into normally, then that’s a bonus. I’m just glad you’re listening!
